The high-quality Bresser Topas Kompas 7x50 Porro prism binoculars are beautiful waterproof binoculars designed specifically for the nautical/water sports market. With a 7x magnification it is ideal for looking for buoys, other ships and bridges, even during storms when it is normally difficult to keep binoculars stable. With a lens diameter of 50 mm the binoculars are very bright and can also be used at night during clearing. These binoculars have an exit pupil of 7.15 mm, exactly the same size as that of the human eye. This means that the full light intensity of the binoculars can be used and that no light is lost. Fully dioptric adjustable LE-(Long Eye) eyepieces with eyecups that allow you to adjust the binoculars to your personal vision. The eyecups can easily be folded back, so that the full field of view is available to the wearer of glasses. Once focused at a distance of about 20 meters, the binoculars are sharp to infinity and you do not need to adjust.
The binoculars have an illuminated 360° compass which can be used for navigation, checking other shipping traffic, possible collision course detection and with the help of the rotatable distance ring around the right objective tube you can estimate the distance and calculate the height to see if you can pass under a bridge.
The body is nitrogen-filled and therefore waterproof and does not fog up from the inside. The viewer is threaded at the front on the center axis, which makes it easy to mount on any camera tripod using a tripod adapter.
A yellow belt is included, if the viewer accidentally falls into the water it floats on the belt.
